I thought feedback was for "serious issues" that couldn't be otherwise answered or resolved, not for simple questions, even if they are disguised as statements.
Perhaps the answer to Sporp's question might be that nobody who "regularly" reports miscats within any single area is likely to be invited to volunteer because those best able to take a balanced view of what the majority of Stumblers might expect a tag to be will display a wider interest base.
I include myself in the former category. I can live with it.

11: "to take a balanced view "
one tends to agree.

Perhaps I should clarify my initial response.

"I can only assume that they are a little prudish or a closed group."
I can say with some certainty that they are not prudish. They only follow the rules. From what I've seen, the miscatters are a responsible bunch. If mistakes are made, they are only human. It happens.

I don't know what the criteria are for being chosen.. but I assume that it won't be discussed here. Therefore, if it really bothers you, you could request the info from "feedback" (even if it's not so "serious").

However, please carry on reporting miscat sites. Thank you for that. :)

no wait invites, take action, use feedback, we need people. if your heart hurts when you find a miscatted page, good enough for me, you are fit for the job. but be warned, it's not easy. patience is a virtue, ya know?
